This 4 week series will give you the tools to begin meditating or strengthen your current practice. We will explore gentle asanas, basic pranayama, and meditation techniques to reach a deeper level of stillness and happiness.

Meditation is the art of in-tuning, focusing, and balancing the forces of your mind to a point of peace and tranquility. In calmness of the meditative mind, all polarities are harmonized into stillness, which is the wellspring of mental creativity. Meditation is a way of freeing the mind from past compulsion so that you might be truly "born again"; it is the art of touching the real you, beyond name and form, which is eternal, unchanging, and ever blissful.

Michelle and Rick are the owners of Santosha Yoga. Michelle is a certified meditation teacher through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, and a dedicated practitioner for nearly 20 years. She understands and experiences the transformational effects of a regular meditation practice, and is excited to share this with others. Michelle is also a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT).
